Hello and welcome to the hypnotic half hour with your host me, Jason Simmons. This is the podcast where I interview inspirational people from the world of hypnosis and share tips and advice from my experiences as a stage hypnotist and a hypnotherapist.
In this week's episode I bring on my sound engineer Graham Waller to discuss the sound you should be considering when starting out, we talk about the bare minimum equipment required and the pros and cons of using the different types of equipment.
Graham also shares advice on getting the best from your equipment on a budget and how to set up things like microphones and speakers to ensure that you're providing the best sound quality for your shows.
This episode is mainly aimed at someone who may just be starting out in hypnosis however, even if you're more experienced, I'm sure that you're going to find something of value within this episode.
There's even more information in a blog post that I made a couple of years ago when I was first asked this question. You can find that blog post here: https://www.mappingminds.co.uk/single-post/2017/12/05/Setting-Up-A-Stage-Hypnosis-Show
Graham is a very experienced sound engineer who has a great level of experience in both live and studio sound. As it happens, Graham does all the sound on the podcast and has done all of the sound for my shows and my hypnotherapy tracks.
In addition to this Graham has also been working with several other hypnotists and therapists, I'd highly recommend shooting him an email if you're interested in having some work done. You can find Graham's work on: www.grahamwaller.com
